Back to school!
BYU-I has just started a Bachelor of University Studies online. I applied and was accepted along with 14 other students. I started class yesterday and am looking forward to seeing how this process will work. It's definitely different having all my classes online, but I'm excited to be back in school and hopefully it won't take me too long to get my bachelors.
Also, I accepted a new calling at church. I'm now the 2nd counselor in the primary presidency. It seems like in the last 2 weeks things have gotten really busy for me. Plus, I didn't realize the primary presidency is in charge of so much. But, I have some friends in the presidency so I think this will be a good experience. And I love singing primary songs!!!

New York! New York!
Andrew has a sister that lives out in New York. We both have never been there so we planned a two week vacation to go see them. It was so much fun. Our first day we went and saw Niagara Falls. That was probably the most humid day I have ever experienced. It was about 90 degrees and I swear 100% humid.

We also visited Erie, Pennsylvania and took a boat out on Erie Lake. They have a big indoor water park in Erie so we spent a couple of days there.
Andrew's sister lives in Wellsville, New York. Which is very close to Pennsylvania. The country out there is amazing. On our last hurrah we went four wheeling out there. We also were able to see a few Amish towns. We even stopped at an amish store. I'm very much in awe of those people.

Callie's One Year Photos!
We had a professional photo shoot for Callie's one year pictures. There is a couple in our ward that has a photography business and instead of going to Wal-mart we decided to try them out. Thank goodness we did!!! The pictures turned out great. We took the photos at the Rose Garden's and Pittock Mansion. Callie loved it! We were able to catch her more in her element, which I love. I would recommend our photographer friends to anyone wanting some good photos. Here's a link to there blog, http://www.reversedlensphotography.blogspot.com/.

Downtown activity!
Downtown Portland had a sand contest in Pioneer Square. We thought it would be fun to see! Callie was oblivious to what was going on, but enjoyed watching the people down there. Andrew and I thought it was pretty cool. We saw these before they were finished. They had a hour more to go before their time was up.

Camping at the Beach

Last weekend we went camping with Andrew's sister and her kids at the washington coast. We had a lot of fun. I was worried it would be hard with Callie, but she loved every minute! We made it easier by staying in a cabin. The cabin was pretty small so we sent the boys out to sleep in a tent.

We have camped here before and was expecting it to be cloudy and possible rainy. We were surprised to have a beautiful sunny day. Especially at the beach! Callie spent a good hour playing in the water. She kept wanting to sit down and play in the sand too.

Notice her sandy bottom!

We will definately be making this trip again!
