Happy Graduation!!!

On Tuesday Andrew graduated from Oregon Health and Science University! Whahoo! We are so excited and glad to be done with this chapter of school. OHSU also offered Andrew a job in their Cardiac ICU. This is the job we were hoping for and he starts mid-July. Andrew is still studying hard for his boards and will be taking them at the end of the month. Once he passes the boards then he'll have the official title of RN!

This is Marsha(Andrew's mom), Andrew and Me right after graduating. We left Callie with my mom and spared her the long graduation!

Mexico!

Well we went on vacation!!! We dropped Callie off at grandma's and headed with our friends to Mexico! We had so much fun!

Here we are our first day and we loved seeing bright blue water on the Sea of Cortez!

My friend Brittany pointed out that these mountains in the distance are white. When I asked why, she said that they are covered in bird poop! Eeewww Gross!

Andrew tried some ocean Kayaking, but the weather was stormy and the waves were too big!

Here's another attempt with the "Water Oasis" raft. Matt and Andrew almost tipped over!

Then Matt had a good idea. Pull a Boogie board behind the Rhino!

I found a whale bone our last day of exploring!

We would find these Jelly Fish randomly on the beach. It was amazing to see how "Smurf" blue they were.

And last but not least a beautiful Mexican sunset!

We had a great time!

Oh and by the way...when we got home I realized my driver's license had been expired for a month. I went through two airports and across the border and no one noticed. Way to go Homeland Security!!!

Family Scrabble!

I don't know about anyone else, but I enjoy a nice game of Scrabble every now and then. So we got the game out to play as a family and had a blast!!! Callie really enjoyed it and had some of the best words on the board!




Okay, so it really looks like she's playing, but really she had fun with the letters and watching mommy and daddy play. Good times!

Pretty Purple Tutu!

Callie got this tutu as a christmas gift from my sister. At first she was afraid of it and wouldn't go near it. Now its her favorite 'pretty' and wants to wear it all the time. Also, she is really into being naked, which is why she has ONLY the tutu on!!!

Potty Time and Fun glasses!

We bought an "Elmo" toilet seat for Callie last month. I am in no means potty training her, but I thought it would be a good idea to get her used to it before we actually start the process. She loves it! And you can't use the potty without the proper reading material!




We were heading out the door one day and Callie insisted on wearing her fun glasses. I told her I was going to take a picture and I turned around and saw this pose. What a cheeseball!

Alfalfa was born!!!

I guess you could call this the girl version of Alfalfa's hair style! Callie loved it and really showed off her modeling skills.

Seaside, Oregon

What a day to go to the beach!!! On a whim we decided to take a family trip to the coast. We have friends that have a beach house in Seaside. We were so excited to see sunshine and no rain! Callie loved it except for the dog walkers. She was a little scared of dogs coming up to play with her.

On the Seaside boardwalk Callie discovered the railing. At first she tried to go under it.


Then she tried going over it.

But mom came and helped her walk on top of it!!

We had a great time!
