So...in October I had the sign and symptoms of a little bun in the oven. I waited until I thought I was about 10 weeks to make a doctors appointment. I had my appointment last thursday and was shocked by the results! It was just my first visit so I didn't have Andrew come along because a nurse was just taking care of paper work. Well I told the nurse that I was guessing that I was 10 weeks because I was having problems and haven't had a period since the summer. She thought it would be a good idea to have an ultrasound to make sure of my weeks. She called over to the technician and they had an opening right then. I left the nurse and walked over to another building for a quick ultrasound to confirm my 10 week guess. The first thing the technician said was, "well...you're not 10 weeks, you're 18!" I was like, "WHAT?!?!" I had no idea I was that far along. Then she said, "Do you want to know what you're having?" I couldn't believe it! After my appointment I called Andrew and told him what had happened! I am still in shock that I am half way through my pregnancy and I didn't even know! I'm due May 12th and having a baby boy!
We are very excited!

I don't laugh out loud very often when I read things, but that is amazing! CONGRATULATIONS! That seems like such a blessing almost to not even know you were pregnant for that long! That's such a good story!
We are VERY excited for you!
PS~ You are such a fun mommacita!
Seriously! I am so happy. Boys are great, but you do have to buy clothes all over again. I am so jealous that you are so far along, and didn't really know it. I hope my second pregancy goes like that (if I ever get to that point!) Congrats, congrats, congrats!
