Lake Compounce

We took a mini-vacation to Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT. Our good friends the Rees' Family came with us. This is a super cool amusement park that is built around a lake.  You can swim in the lake, they have water slides, roller coasters, rides and games!

Cal and Kinsey with the finished product.  All day long people would come up to the girls and say how pretty they looked.  They loved it!!!

This is at the end of the day and we found a water ride at the other side of the lake.  Ashley coerced me into to going.  I knew we would get super wet and didn't want to.  But Callie said, "Come on mom, it's alright!"  So we went and Andrew stayed behind to watch the babies for us.  We were soaked!!!  Luckily Cal's face paint didn't get completely ruined!

This is the name of the awesome roller coaster we went on.  It was probably the best ride I've taken on a roller coaster.  It goes up the hillside that surrounds the lake and comes down the other side.  This was definitely good local fun!
