Today is her day...she's off and away! Cal was very excited to start school and even more excited to start today. She has been patiently waiting to go since they cancelled her first day last week. Because of Hurricane Irene school was postponed due to some schools not having electricity. She chose her outfit, shoes and hairstyle.

I can't believe she is old enough to be in kindergarten! Leif was a little sad he couldn't get on the bus, but is now happily playing with his trucks. Good luck Cal and have fun today!

What a bummer to have school cancelled on the first day. I hope she is loving school. I can't believe how fast kids grow!
So sweet and tender! She's good at fashion! I like to let my kids pick out there getups too but it often leaves me cringing as I wave goodbye to them and praying that the kids won't make fun of them!
