Since we have a new member of the family we thought we would take some family photos! As soon as the rain clouds parted we ran outside to take some pics. I think they turned out pretty nice!

It's a bird...no, it's a plane...no, it's Leif!!!

Everything went great, Leif and mom are doing fine. We were planning on having the little guy on May 4th, but Amy's water broke and they decided to just go ahead and get him out. No complications, no problems whatsoever. We are excited to get him home. Here is a picture of our handsome Leif, more pics to come.

BABY BOY HAS ARRIVED!!!

Leif Christian Jensen
was born Sunday April 19th, 2009 at 4:21pm.
He arrived 3 weeks early when my water broke and sent us to the hospital. This was a big surprise to us, but are very excited to have him with us. He has dark luscious locks of hair and two very cute dimples on his cheeks. Pictures to come! I'll try very hard to get a dimple picture, they are sooo cute!

Amy has been slacking, soooo.....

I will do the dirty work and post something. This will be quick and painless, so bear with me.

This, I believe is an eagle. Quite majestic if you ask me. It reminds me of that guy from the Muppets. I miss the Muppets, they don't get much play anymore. I wish they would resurrect the Muppets and make it a primetime show. It doesn't get much better than The Muppet Christmas Carol. Kermit the frog....is....the....man!

Rock on Kermit!

As most of you know, Amy is pregnant with my firstborn son. As we await the proper heir to the Jensen throne, we have focused our attention from the land of Blogs. I suppose this gives Amy a pass from having to post on a regular basis, so I will now assume the duties as the official "Jensen Family Blog Poster and Updater".

This blog post took a lot of time and effort on my part, so I expect meaningful and praiseworthy comments. I wish you all luck in your quests, whatever they may be. Allow me to leave you with some words of wisdom:

As the weather warms up, try and avoid wearing socks with sandals at all costs, life will go much smoother for you, I promise. Lastly, if you consider yourself a male, don't wear Uggghhhhh Boots with shorts in the winter time, you would be doing the whole world a disservice.

Oh yeah, I forgot, Amy and I are watching all of the Star Trek movies in anticipation of the new one coming out this summer.

End.

Bowl-o-rama!

For 'Presidents Day' we decided to celebrate by going bowling!! It was Cal's first time and she loved every minute of it!

Can you see the anticipation of Cal...the only problem was it took forever for the ball to reach the pins! But she still jumped up for joy when it finally hit a pin or two!

Here's the pro bowler! I think this pregnancy is making me more balanced or something! I bowled the best game I've ever had!! And even though the bumpers are up...I never used them!
Here's the big guy doing his thing!
"It's so heavy!"

Check out the score!!! This was a bad day for Andy, but I had to take a pic of my awesome score!

We are homeowners...almost!!!

A couple of months ago Andrew and I got the itch to get out of an apartment. We worked the numbers, talked to a loan broker, contacted a realtor and voila...a home!!! Okay, maybe not that easily, but it was a lot more simple than I thought it would be. We found a great deal on a foreclosed home in Vancouver. We are more than excited to stretch out in a bigger home with a GARAGE!!!! I'm sooo ecstatic about the storage space and kitchen! We will be closing on March 6th and moving that weekend. We're going to miss this area, but I am not going to miss living in a dang apartment! HA HA HA

Here's a pic of me and our realtor out front after inspection.

Here's my new kitchen!!!

It begins....

We officially started "the training" for Cal last week! So far a huge success!!! For the past 6 mornings she has woken up with a dry diaper and successfully tells me when she needs to go. She is really excited to be a big girl and loves the new princess panties we bought her! There has been the occasional accident which she freaks out at. I have to laugh because she'll come waddling over to me like she's been riding a horse all day in panic because she didn't make it to the potty. At first I didn't want to go anywhere for fear of her going in her pants at the store, but she is definitely a pro now at the big girl potty! Hooray!
