We have arrived in Connecticut!!!
We are staying in the downtown area of New Britain at the La Quinta until we find an apartment. Its been raining since we have arrived so it feels like home! The town is older but their are some really nice neighborhoods. Its very green here with rolling hills and the air is actually quite fragrant. I think its from the leafy trees.
We called the bishop out here and he helped point us to some nice neighborhoods and we even went to the house of the Relief Society President. She was very helpful and friendly and gave us a map! I think this ward will be fun!
We think we've found an apartment and we filled out an application. So we hope we can get it. Its in a house of 3 apartments. The original house burned down last summer so this is a completely new house. We would be the first to live there and it has a washer and dryer in the unit and is 3 bedrooms. Its super nice and we really like it. We'll either get the 1st or 3rd floor.

Full of surprises huh... Sounds like the ward is very helpful.. that is always nice.
